This is in keeping with the guidelines as supplied by insurance companies which states that burglar bars should be spaced at intervals no greater than 120mm.

Use only warm water or Windolene and a soft microfiber cloth. Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning products.

ClearBars are made from 7mm thick Polycarbonate thermoplastic and will withstand massive impact. Yes, they can be cut - as can steel and aluminium burglar bars. As with all burglar bars, they are present as a deterrent and as an early warning system to alert you to the presence of a potential intruder.

ClearBars are guaranteed for 15 years against fading and ageing.

ClearBars is synonymous with quality and durability and has a superior UV coating suitable for use in South Africa's harsh climate. The product is professionally cut, bevelled and edged to produce a smooth continuous leading edge which is pleasing on the eye. Numerous competitor products are poorly finished, often having a sharp and uneven leading edge.

No - unlike conventional steel burglar bars, ClearBars are completely maintenance-free. No steel = no rust!

ClearBars are supplied and installed across South Africa by trained professional agents as installation is the weakest link in the system. It is critical to use the best installation method as there is no point in having super strong ClearBars® installed when the fixing point can be easily broken.

Not one installation is the same and damages to window frames, glass and properties are easily made when not installed professionally, which makes it unsuitable as a DIY product.
